Description

Always use the base together with a dish/pan and lid.
The Omnia® oven is designed with three parts – a lower base, pan and lid – which together create both upper and lower heating. The smart cooperation between these parts makes it possible to bake, cook and heat with simplicity and precision.

The bowl-shaped lower base must always be used together with an Omnia® Oven Dish and a lid. Only when all three parts are in place is it an oven.

  • The base fits all Omnia® panes: Original and Maxi, with or without a non-stick coating.
  • No liquid: The base must be dry; it is the hot air that heats the underside of the pan, not water.
  • High heat: The base can get extremely hot (>300°C/527°F) and a natural color change from the heat can occur.
  • Placement on the stove: Always place the Omnia® oven in the center of the stoves ring. Avoid letting the base have direct contact with the stove’s rim.

NOTE: The base retains heat for a long time after use. Be careful when handling the base after use and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

Should there be water in the base?

No, do not put water in the base. The bottom heat rises from the hot air.
