Description

Making pizza in the Omnia® Stovetop Pizza Oven is quick and easy. This portable pizza oven is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy freshly baked pizza on the go – in a motorhome, caravan, boat or even at a campsite.

A dough weighing around 400 grams, which is enough for a large pizza for four people, is perfect for dividing into four smaller pizzas that will fit in the pizza oven.

The oven retains heat very efficiently, so you can easily bake several pizzas in a row. It takes just 7-8 minutes per pizza. The result is small, very tasty pizzas with a crispy base and perfectly melted cheese.

More than just pizza

The Omnia® Stovetop Pizza Oven is not only ideal for small pizzas – it also works great as an oven for other delicious dishes in mini format. Thanks to the even heat distribution, it is also suitable for savory snacks and small bites and for sweet pastries and desserts. Everything cooks easily directly on the baking tray. Just place your ingredients on the heated baking tray, put the lid on and let the oven do the work in a few minutes.

FAQ

How does the pizza oven actually work?

The oven uses the heat from a heat source such as your hob: it rises up the sides into the lid, creating both top and bottom heat, similar to a traditional pizza oven. This allows the pizza to bake evenly, with a crispy base and a golden, melted topping.
For best results, preheat the oven for about 5 minutes before baking.

What heat sources does the pizza oven work on?

The oven works on all heat sources except induction. That means it can be used on gas cookers, electric cookers, ceramic hobs, barbecues, and even open fires!

How long does it take to cook the pizzas?

A pizza is typically ready in about 7–8 minutes. Once the oven is fully preheated, the baking time may become shorter, especially when making several pizzas in a row.

What size are the pizzas?

The pizzas are about 15 cm in diameter, perfect for individual portions and for trying different toppings. Since they bake quickly, you can easily make several pizzas one after another and serve them hot and fresh.

Any tips for best results?

Keep the toppings simple and not too wet and avoid overloading the pizza. A thinner base gives a crispier result. Also, keep an eye on the pizza while baking as it can cook quickly once the oven is hot.

How do you clean the pizza oven?

It’s easy: once the oven has cooled down, clean it with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. It is not dishwasher safe. Wiping it down is often enough.

Can I also make tarte flambé or other things in it?

Oh yes! In addition to classic pizza, tarte flambé, pizza rolls, mini calzones, or sweet variations such as Nutella pizza or with apple and cinnamon work great too. Keep an eye out for our new ideas coming soon!

Can I use ready-made pizza dough from the cooling counter in the supermarket?

Yes! Whether the dough is homemade, from the chilled section or frozen – it all works.

What temperature should I set the stove to?

The heat source should be on a medium flame or heat. Preheat the oven with the stainless-steel baking tray before baking the first pizza. Ensure that the cooker stands on a fireproof surface, as the surface can become very hot during prolonged use.
